Austin at our field trip...there is the replica skull made by a doctor-guy at U of H, and there is the sculpture a lady from the Smithsonian is doing...they were both there to talk about it...School...school...oh fun, school...little sunnier...that's good! Off to a special exhibit brought by the Buffalo Soldiers Museum, but at a different location...it was an interesting presentation on how they recreate the face of a skull from a Fort Craig Buffalo Soldier...from the 1860's...Austin seemed to be more into it than Brittany...shocker--he had to ask questions while she wanted it over and to hide...we made it home to do a little more school...then Brittany was off to church...Nick grilled up some beef fajitas and we ran by Target to pick up a new queen air mattress...then we picked Brittany up...then we headed up and it was another night of American Idol--guys turn...another not-so-good night...I don't know if I'm going to last this season...and then re-runs of Modern Family and Cougar Town...ugh, but let me just say...

thank you crystal for the birthday wishes! we had an awesome day together getting our free grand slam at denny's and free dessert at jack in the box! then we had dinner with the family that included a key lime pie from flying saucer pie company! :)
