Signing Off to 2009

Darlene, Marlene, and I at my house...party time!
Morning was for cleaning crazy...after making pancakes on my new big long griddle...a break later to get some stuff at Wal-Mart and Kohl's-shop...Then, party prep--food was going--homemade hot and bbq wings, chili con queso with chili in it, fruit tray, veggie tray, meatballs (chili sauce and grape jelly as the sauce), cheese and crackers, seafood salad and crackers...Philip/Jennifer/Abby/Samuel came with some cocktail shrimp...my mom came with the seafood salad and some apples and carmel dip...Nick's mom was there, who helped me with cooking--chicken wings...Marlene came with yummy Sangria and 7-layer dip and chips (oh--I also had chips and homemade salsa)...Darlene/Mark/Nathan/Jered came with some potato salad and cucumber salad...Darlene and Marlene's mom Margaret and dad LeRoy came with black eyed peas...there was fun times with the Wii and other games in the game room...we listened to the music on my IPOD (I had to clue some people in on Daughtry!)...then it was Dick Clark's New Year's Eve--oh, who was playing?!--Daughtry! :) He was looking good!!! Other people played too--Black Eyed Peas and ugh to Jennifer Lopez...we had some glow sticks and then toasted in the New Year at midnight with champagne and sparkling juice...then time for fireworks outside!
