Austin chillin' after a long day...Cleaning, laundry, oh my! Got that going...chopping up rib-eye meat...put it in the crock-pot with the other ingredients for some chili later...oh, my NEW crock-pot--love it! We were all off to Galveston...mother-in-law had appointments to look at some condos and get an idea for later on...the weather was dreary, but it can't always be sunny at the beach...I think we've got a good idea of what would be best, but there are still some up in the air kind of things...it's really hard, because the one that was best was not by the water...the one to really like, by the water, needs a ton of work...Anyhow, we had a late lunch at wonderful Shrimp and Stuff...somehow making us all a little sleepy on the way home...chili was already bubbly ready--and only on Low for 7 hours...definitely cooks faster than my other one...headed to the store for some things--like for the New Year's get-together, and after some more cleaning...off to bed!
