Swimmin' Beginnin'

First day of swim lessons for Austin...it's my favorite place to take swim lessons--the Houston Swim Club...Brittany took lessons there for the first time and continued for maintenance classes, from about 5 years old to 2nd grade...Austin has taken lessons for 2 summers, ending about 2 years ago, from the YMCA...he can swim...he's quite the fish, but he needs work on his strokes and all...He actually was doing pretty good, and he maybe should have been put in a higher level, but with just him and one other boy, it didn't make too much difference. When you go during the morning on a school-day, there's not too many of us at his age...Anyhow, after all work was done, I did a little rearranging on the back patio...we then went off to Cub Scouts...talked about birds--bird houses to hang and bird feeders to make...also made some trail mix...by the way, my new show is The Tudors on Showtime (mature audiences for sure, but it's really cool since I read about this time period recently with Brittany's world history...) Alright, off to bed...reading first...still finishing second reading of New Moon...
