Busy Saturday--up early to get set-up for the Pinewood Derby...After helping Nick a little, Stephanie, Brittany, and I ran to Shipley's to get donuts and then snucked off to Kolache Factory for our own little treats (and one for Nick too)...then it was back to sell some drinks and donuts...Nick and lots of helpers got the boys and the siblings and parents all checked in with their cars...the races began and we at least knew that Austin's wasn't the slowest car this year...in the end, he didn't place first, second, or third for Bears, much less overall, but that doesn't bother him...one of his best friends in his Den got the Turtle Trophy (so now they are the 2 in the Turtle Club!)...everyone seemed to have had a blast...and ate lots of donuts and drank lots of drinks! Then, we headed home for a little rest...couple hours later we were off to get Hayden's present and then to Tim and Roxanne's house...they, as godparents, were nice to allow for his 1st Birthday party to be held at their new home. Brenda and Jason had so many wonderful friends show up, as well as Brenda's dad from Dallas. The cake by Benita was soooo wonderful looking...and very tasty too! The kids had fun playing Wii and going outside as well...Hayden really delved into his little cake...getting messy and even going at it with just his mouth! We had so much fun but were definitely tired once getting home!
