Florida Arrival

Up early and byes to Nick...on the road...gps working...dvd player running...plenty of cokes and snacks handy...Louisiana Welcome Center, which is a nice one, is closed...stopped for lunch, thinking Chick-fil-A, but I'm a ding-dong and forgot about it being closed on Sundays...ate lunch at Wendy's instead...made it to Mississippi...stopped at the Welcome Center...stopped at Gulfport at Outlets because of the Disney Store outlet--bought nothing...made it to Alabama...kids didn't want to stop...getting kinda sleepy...had to stop at the McDonald's drive-thru for some ice cream--their cones are the best! Made it to Florida!!! Austin loves their Welcome Center...about 5:30 we hit our hotel...we'll be here a couple of nights...white sand beach on Monday...
