Burnin Up with the Jo Bros

Brittany singing and clapping along with the Jonas Brothers...
School day...shopping at Target day...eating out with Brittany...Chinese...Jonas Brothers concert day...So, Jonas Brothers...my ears and head are still slightly ringing...We get there...park in the parking garage...get in line to purchase the necessary t-shirt and program (that one is my idea...I sorda like her to collect them, cause she'll appreciate it when she's older...) Girls with homemade t-shirts, signs, pants, and bibs (yes, a girl was wearing a "Joe you make me drool" bib)...we went to our floor seats, which were pretty good, but they could have been better...like right next to the stage that jutted out (why can't they have that for Duran Duran...but I digress) Before the show, on the big screen, you could send in texts...people would type stuff like "If you love Nick, scream loud" and they would...yeah...oh the people watching was a blast...the little bitty girls that really should be at home in bed saving their ears...yeah...why would their moms and dads spend that kind of money on their 5 year-old? Whatever! So, they also took "commerical breaks" on the big screen--where more screams insued...like advertising a Disney animated movie--and screaming when they mentioned Frankie Jonas...and then showing a Burger King commercial with Jo Bros in it...and screaming...as if they were really there...oh, I don't thing I would be like that for DD, really!!! Anyhow, Honor Society was the opening act...they were pretty good actually...and did you know they are in the new movie Bandslam...they are, cause they showed a video of it during the performance of the song...Then, we got Asian Pop sensation--The Wonder Girls...talk about fake singing and fake wigs and totally Asian Dream Girls...whatever...then stage re-set...lighting guys getting hoisted in place behind us...all the other musicians and the Big Rob bodyguard walking right by us...we were right by an entrance/exit...Then, wa-la--The Jonas Brothers!!! Oh, the screams, the cheers...and it was a really good show...really! I even cried during "A Little Bit Longer"...you really should get the background on that one...it's about Nick and his finding out about having diabetes...he played all alone on stage at a white piano with fog around it, and he talked about the day he found out and how he asked the doctor if he was going to die--it was like 4 years ago; so, he would have been 12...but he talked about how great his health is doing now and owing it all to his fans for making his dreams come true...and the show just keeps being good and upbeat and a really good show and it's nice to know that they are actually singing and playing and not "faking" it to a recording...So, after watching them quickly go by like 2 feet from us (and Brittany not like freaking out as much as I was for her) we headed to our car...we waited forever to get out of the parking garage but finally made it home at 11:30... Then, I was up until 2 a.m. getting coupons ready, and that will be covered tomorrow...P.S. Nick is sick now--fever and all...he better get better soon!
