Brittany over at friend/fellow Girl Scout's house hanging out...playing WiiGot going at an early hour...Brittany too...she had some tests today...It was colder today, but I hear I shouldn't complain compared to up north. Nick was Mr. Nintendo DS Brain Surgeon...that's right--he's the "man"...when it comes to electronics stuff. The other day Austin dropped his DS...it slipped out from under his arms when he was holding it...he realized it wouldn't turn on...we heard this noise like something was broken off inside. Nick had to order a special--triangley (is that a word?) screwdriver off Ebay...it came today (super quick!) and then when he opened it there was some teeny tiny transistor loose...(ask Nick if you want to know all the details...) and anyhow...he needed to get a little welding thing...so off to Radio Shack he went. He was able to do what he needed to do, and wah lah! it's all fixed. I guarantee Austin will be more careful! Oh, and in other news, the Jonas Brothers are coming to the Houston Rodeo...needless to say, tickets are a hot item, with people having bought presale and selling them at super upcharges on Ebay and the like...Nick's friend at work, beyond needing JoBros tickets bought season tickets today...the seats are in 140, which isn't too bad, just not the best...anyways, he is being nice and selling them to Nick for $100 each...we will still see what we're able to do at 10 a.m. in the morning...but not thinking we'll do much better. Finally, Brittany was off to a Girl Scout get-together at one of the other girls houses...which this girl lives right around the corner from us...we had pizza and dessert and played XBOX guitar hero and the Wii...lots of fun! Now, Nick and Brittany and Austin are in there making lots of noise with Rock Band on the Wii and I'm getting a headache!

$100 each? is that the going rate these days? yikes. i remember when tickets used to be like $10. no wonder i don't go to the rodeo anymore.
ReplyDeleteThe tickets aren't $100 for real...that's how much Nick's paying him. The tickets are in the $20 section. The cheapest rodeo tickets are $16...in the 600's and standing room only, which is all they had left yesterday. Nick also bought a couple of ZZTop ones...
