Who Wants a Pet? Or Even a Horse?

On our tour of the animals at the Houston SPCA...
We went on a field trip today to the Houston Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (HSPCA). There were so many cats, puppies, bunnies, dogs, roosters, pigs, a goat, and horses there for adoption. All the animals there are rescued or turned over by owners who can no longer care for them. We have no pets right now, and it makes you want one. But, whenever a friend has a baby, I think about wanting another one of those too! So, I am still holding out on getting another pet...even though the kids really want one.

We stopped at McDonald's for lunch afterwards. Yummy...no, it's not on the "lose weight" plan...oh well! We even got all our work done today...

In other news, Big Brother houseguests have been released...been having fun being part of finding them on myspace and such... It starts next week on the 12th!
