Austin and Brittany in front of the gates at the Texas State Capitol in Austin...Well, Nick is here for a class through work, and we came with to take in some pretty cool, educational field trips. We also have schoolwork here to do at the hotel as well. Today we went to the state capitol building and took the guided tour. Austin didn't get enough sleep and had some grumpy moments, but he had fun checking things out. They liked the Visitor's Center--you can look through telescopes and see to the top of the capitol at the Goddess of Liberty, seeing close up of her holding the sword and star. We had McDonald's for lunch and then did our schoolwork. We picked Nick up and rested at the hotel. We thought of going to the 24 Hour Fitness here, but we ended up at Chili's with no workout today. Lots of e-mail catching up and such. We have some more fun stuff planned, so check back to see where we go tomorrow!
