A nutty picture at some gardens in Nacogdoches...Benita's friend, Vicki, Julie, Benita, and me...New hair--platinum blonde highlights and a trim...finish packing...grab Julie and her stuff...head to meet Vicki at rental car place...Benita had reserved a rental car for us...that didn't go as planned, but we weren't going to tell Benita--she'd be upset...so, I just drove the three of us...couple other friends met up there...Basically, Benita's future mother-in-law planned this family (both sides and people from all over East Texas etc.) meet and greet at The Jones House in Nacogdoches...reserving the whole house for the whole weekend...the drive was not bad and actually quite scenic...we had a blast talking and singing along to songs...2 of Benita and Vicki's friends from work also came...See, Benita was told to have friends come and spend the night and have some fun...so, that's what brought us there! We settled in...had food--they had a lot and soooo good! We decided to look for a liquor store--an adventure for sure...scary! We stopped to take some crazy pics on the way...like at this rhino and horse statue and in these gardens...there was talk of the house being haunted, which didn't sit well with Vicki--she made us make a pact to stay all together--the other 2 friends didn't stay the night, and then we headed into some more activities: pj's, drinks/snacks...games--Express Yourself, change--bar across the street--crazy guy and darts...then a Whataburger run...soooo yummy was that WhataChicken Sandwich! We talked and printed out picks....Julie and I shared room...can't believe she is a TV-sleeper! Oh well...I survived!
