Brittany with her crazy hat she made at "Childcare" session...Saturday morning and Brittany and I are up early and off to Huntsville to Sam Houston State University...they were having their Free Scout Day at SAM...boys and girls...Brittany was signed up for Childcare and Computers in Everyday Life. She earned 2 Interest Projects and got to check out the university and professors...It was kind of ironic...first we went to an Early Childhood Education classroom and were kind of in my former world, and then after lunch we were in the world of her daddy--computers all taken apart and she helped put back together...they also played with PCs and Macbooks, making a podcast with Garage Band program...It was also a very lovely, sunny day out...One of the girls from her new troop was there, taking the same 2 as her...We also saw a co-leader from the former troop, and 3 of her friends from that troop...We brought our lunch there, but we also got Sonic Happy Hour drinks and a snack for our long ride home...Brittany also decided to take a nap...
Austin was off with daddy at a birthday party with his friend, who happens to be Brittany's new GS leader's son...it was a spy party...he wore a disguise and got some mustaches that he loved wearing all day...daddy said he wore it to Target and the movies...they went to the Studio Movie Grill (with free passes) to see Avatar...they had such a good time hanging together!
