Nick being led blind-folded through obstacle course...hula-hooping...Day starts with Family Fun Day with the Cub Scouts...fun day it was! We made team names (we came up with LeMoinade Lions--with lemon, lime, and a lion on the bandanna)...then we did various stations--team motto ("Respect the Respected" Austin decided on), book time--learning a character trait and discussing it, story starter--taking turns creating a story, obstacle course trusting while blind-folded, and more--food drive and just spending time with other families...we stopped for lunch the 3 of us (Brittany is still on the church retreat) at a new Chinese buffet by our house--the closest one we have now...and if you like sushi--they have...they also have crawfish...they had all kinds of other favorites too! It was really, really, really good! And you always need a nap after that...so that's what we did...mine was the longest...I didn't want to get up! Then, it was off to IKEA...we are re-doing the game room...sold lots at the garage sale...we got 2 new shelves and a TV stand...and for Austin we got him a new desk for his room...now all the computers have their home...we had to go to customer service to take care of the price differences with what is shown on-line...making about a $110 difference...we then got Austin's desk all put together and set-up...he couldn't wait to play on the computer...by the way, it's the exact same one that Brittany has! Then, I vegged and watched some DVRed Clean House...love that show...shows like that make me feel lots better, while motivating me at the same time...like how we've been doing around here--selling, cleaning, organizing...once the game room is finished and the bins of stuff pulled out of Austin's room, I'm going to really, really, really tackle this classroom--especially the closet! Well, night-night for me!
