Austin working his teams robot during the "battle"...Got up and got everyone ready...Austin and I were off to a Robotics class with other 3rd-6th grade homeschoolers...Brittany had Spanish, with mom picking her up...Nick was close by for a meeting, and he was going to attempt to come by Austin's class...everyone made it were they needed to be...Austin was so excited...there were some other boys that he knew from Cub Scouts there...they were using the Lego Robotics, which is exciting for him...He worked in a group putting together these Legos and adding motor with controls, attached to wire...they learned about gears and such...then they "battled" against the other teams...they got to add modifications too...Nick did show up...the hard part was for him not to "touch" or help...Anyways, Austin really wants his own kits of the stuff...we'll see...Nick, Austin, and I had lunch at Taco Cabana...then at home it was some school time...didn't mean to bore mom there, but we had to get some done...Austin had swim class, where he got his certificate graduating to Marlin...then the rains came and the storms came...3 of the girls came to Girl Scouts...we had to cancel and go home...it was stormy and floody..and it still wants to rain! The kids enjoyed the make-your-own strawberry shortcake today for dinner...it was pretty good...well, I'm really sleepy and tomorrow is another school day and the day before garage sale (and Halloween!)
