Monopoly with Kids

So dreary around here today...just cloudy, drizzly, and cold...but not too cold... Anyways, we did our school and lazied around. Nick got home and made his beefy/beany fried tortilla burritos. Brittany and I heated up a few Taquitos and some chile con queso too. We ate while playing a game of Monopoly, Hear and Now Edition (with electronic banking...) The kids have never played Monopoly on a board before...so, getting Austin to understand the idea of buying stuff and what a monopoly is was a little difficult...but since we went with a time limit and seeing who was richer, he WON! Yeah, he hardly bought anything and it paid off...now, if we had saved the game and continued...not so much...Nick was already working it...he tricked (yes, tricked) Austin into giving him one of his properties (that gave Nick a monopoly) and gave Austin 3 of his...so, Austin was soooo excited thinking it was a great deal! We were all laughing, and he didnt' get it. Anyways, I'm going to try to get to bed and go to the gym in the morning before school time. We'll see...
