Friday was a Country Sort of Day

Austin and Brittany with their Great-Great-Grandma...Grandma Dude, at the hospital
We woke up here to bacon cooking. We had a nice breakfast, with real eggs from the chickens that run around here. Austin is not the least bit shy. He was found hanging with Nick's great-uncle Bob under the helicopters he works on. We also visited the horses and cows and turkeys and chickens down at cousin Travis'...now Brittany wants a baby turkey for a pet. They were getting ready to leave for a rodeo--Amanda is involved with that. We went to the hospital to visit Nick's great-grandma Dude (her nickname from like forever...) at the hospital. She is 95, but she has age finally catching up to her. All the years she was really of pretty good health, but it seems she is having seizures and strokes that leave her not remembering what has happened. She recently fell and was in her home, which is on this same property, and was found having been there a while. Anyways, she is being moved to Rehab and hopefully can get to being able to walk with the walker and come home to stay with her son here. We had a very nice pork chop dinner and were off to bed. I'm up early here, as we are going to be heading on to some other visits and then on to Ohio.
